{"id":20164,"date":"2021-04-19T09:43:54","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T05:13:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/?p=20164"},"modified":"2021-04-19T09:43:54","modified_gmt":"2021-04-19T05:13:54","slug":"serbia-says-backs-jcpoa-iran%e2%80%99s-peaceful-nuclear-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/en\/20164\/serbia-says-backs-jcpoa-iran%e2%80%99s-peaceful-nuclear-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Serbia says backs JCPOA, Iran\u2019s peaceful nuclear program"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"summary\">TEHRAN &#8211; Serbia\u2019s Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic said on Sunday that Belgrade has always supported and would continue to support the 2015 nuclear deal \u2013 JCPOA &#8211; and Iran\u2019s peaceful nuclear program.<\/p>\n<p>Selakovic, who visited Tehran on Saturday, made the remarks in a meeting with President Hassan Rouhani.<\/p>\n<p>Serbia, Selakovic added, remains determined to have friendly relations with Iran.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Rouhani censured the United States\u2019 illegal sanctions on Iran and its economic war against the Iranian people over the past three years.<\/p>\n<p>Rouhani said the new administration in Washington has pledged to rejoin the nuclear deal of 2015, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).<\/p>\n<p>Rouhani said that a lifting of all U.S. sanctions on Iran will create \u201ca new atmosphere\u201d for the Islamic Republic\u2019s economic cooperation with the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven the shift in circumstances at the international level and the apparent willingness of the new U.S. administration to return to the JCPOA, with the complete lifting of the sanctions, a new atmosphere will emerge for Iran\u2019s cooperation and economic interactions with the world,\u201d Rouhani said, calling on \u201cfriendly countries to try to seize this opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rouhani also said Iran values peace, stability and security in the Balkans and the peaceful coexistence of all ethnic groups.<\/p>\n<p>Iran has always supported Serbia\u2019s national unity, Rouhani added.<\/p>\n<p>PA\/PA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN &#8211; Serbia\u2019s Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic said on Sunday that Belgrade has always supported and would continue to support the \u06f2\u06f0\u06f1\u06f5 nuclear deal \u2013 JCPOA &#8211; and Iran\u2019s peaceful nuclear program.
