Benjamin is the story of a boy who has to go on a dangerous journey to save his mother\u2019s life from Pharaoh\u2019s soldiers. On this journey, things happen to him that change his view of society and his life.<\/p>\n<p>The film also received the award for best character.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, \u201cThis Side, Other Side\u201d, a short animated movie by Iranian director Lida Fazli, won the special jury mention.<\/p>\n<p>The animation recounts that no boundary can prevent the formation of friends and affection between children.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian short films \u201cFlight 655\u201d by Hamid Jamali and Saeid Mayahi, \u201cGowbangi\u201d by Mehdi Sediq and Ali Fotuhi, \u201cHappy Banana\u201d by Reyhaneh Kavosh and Ali Rais, \u201cThe Train\u201d by Javad Maturi and \u201cThunder\u201d by Mohammad Kheirandish were also screened at the Kwetu International Animation Film Festival, which took place on April 2 and 3, however, they failed to garner an award.<\/p>\n<p>The award for best short went to \u201cBeyond the Trees\u201d by French director Pierre Burgoni, while the audience award was given to \u201c208\u201d by Kenyan director Stanslaus Manthi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photo: Iranian movie \u201cBenjamin\u201d by Mohsen Enayati.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MMS\/YAW<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN \u2013 Iranian movie \u201cBenjamin\u201d has won the award for best feature at the Kwetu International Animation Film Festival in Tanzania.
