{"id":31447,"date":"2021-09-07T14:49:54","date_gmt":"2021-09-07T10:19:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/?p=31447"},"modified":"2021-09-07T14:49:54","modified_gmt":"2021-09-07T10:19:54","slug":"pgsez-infrastructure-ready-for-attracting-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/en\/31447\/pgsez-infrastructure-ready-for-attracting-investment\/","title":{"rendered":"PGSEZ infrastructure ready for attracting investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"summary\">TEHRAN \u2013 Managing Director of Iran\u2019s Persian Gulf Mining and Metal Industries Special Economic Zone (PGSEZ) has said the necessary infrastructure including water, electricity, and natural gas supplies have been provided in the region and the zone is ready for attracting investment.<\/p>\n<p>As IRNA reported, Hassan Khalaj Tehrani said in recent years, PGSEZ has laid the necessary groundwork for attracting investment in the field of mining and mineral industries with the aim of making optimal use of the development capacity of this region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImproving infrastructure (water, gas, electricity and land supply), facilitating the business environment and reducing administrative bureaucracy and granting banking facilities to the manufacturing sector are among the factors provided for attracting investment in the region,\u201d the official said.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to the threefold increase in investment attraction in the previous Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20) compared to its preceding year, Khalaj Tehrani said: \u201cThe increase in the country\u2019s liquidity and the transfer of part of this liquidity to the production sector, the low costs of manpower and the increase in the assets\u2019 value through the increase of export revenues, caused the increase in investment demand last year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Last year, nine investment contracts were signed and in the first quarter of the current year (March 21-June 21), eight more contracts were signed,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official, with the completion of projects implemented in the last 16 months, the amount of investment in this zone will reach $6.1 billion and jobs will be created for about 1,700 people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the removal of investment barriers, the volume of investment is expected to increase this year, also the issue of technology transfer and technical knowledge as one of the positive consequences of investing in the region will lead to increased revenue,\u201d Khalaj Tehrani stated.<\/p>\n<p>EF\/MA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN \u2013 Managing Director of Iran\u2019s Persian Gulf Mining and Metal Industries Special Economic Zone (PGSEZ) has said the necessary infrastructure including water, electricity, and natural gas supplies have been provided in the region and the zone is ready for attracting investment.
