{"id":34500,"date":"2021-10-14T10:51:48","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T07:21:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/?p=34500"},"modified":"2021-10-14T10:51:48","modified_gmt":"2021-10-14T07:21:48","slug":"five-agritourism-farms-to-open-to-public-in-northwest-iran%c2%a0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/en\/34500\/five-agritourism-farms-to-open-to-public-in-northwest-iran%c2%a0\/","title":{"rendered":"Five agritourism farms to open to public in northwest Iran\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"summary\">TEHRAN \u2013 Five agritourism farms will come on stream in the lush and fertile regions of East Azarbaijan province, northwest Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey would be the first-ever agritourism farms to be inaugurated near the cities of Tabriz, Maragheh, Marand, and Jolfa,\u201d the deputy provincial tourism chief said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEast Azarbaijan enjoys diverse agricultural products which provide a good platform for attracting tourists in different seasons of the year and holding festivals of agricultural products,\u201d the official explained.<\/p>\n<p>Agritourism is a subset of a larger industry called rural tourism that includes resorts, off-site farmers&#8217; markets, non-profit agricultural tours, and other leisure and hospitality businesses that attract visitors to the countryside.<\/p>\n<p>It is a relatively new branch of the travel industry in which tourists stay with local people in rural areas.
