{"id":56864,"date":"2025-06-01T11:46:19","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T07:16:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/?p=56864"},"modified":"2025-06-01T11:46:19","modified_gmt":"2025-06-01T07:16:19","slug":"leader-attends-president-raeisi-commemorationceremony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/en\/56864\/leader-attends-president-raeisi-commemorationceremony\/","title":{"rendered":"Leader attends President Raeisi commemorationceremony"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The ceremony was held on the occasion of President Raeisi&#8217;s first martyrdom anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian were martyred in a helicopter crash in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan.<\/p>\n<p>The helicopter carrying President Raeisi and his accompanying delegation crashed in the Dizmar forest, nestled between the cities of Varzaqan and Jolfa in East Azarbaijan Province.<\/p>\n<p>It was transporting Raeisi, Amir-Abdollahian, East Azarbaijan Governor Malek Rahmati, Friday Prayers leader of the city of Tabriz Seyyed Mohammad Ali Al-e Hashem, and a member of the president\u2019s bodyguard team, Mahdi Mousavi. The helicopter\u2019s pilot, co-pilot, and crew were also among others on board the chopper.<\/p>\n<p>President Raeisi and his accompanying delegation were returning from a ceremony to inaugurate a dam on the Aras River with Azerbaijan\u2019s President Ilham Aliyev.<\/p>\n<p>Following the tragic martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei declared a 5-day mourning in Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Millions of people participated in the farewell ceremonies that were held for martyrs in the cities of Tabriz, Qom, Birjand, Mashhad, and Tehran.<\/p>\n<p>MP\/<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ceremony was held on the occasion of President Raeisi&#8217;s first martyrdom anniversary.
