{"id":57485,"date":"2025-08-03T13:19:39","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T08:49:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/?p=57485"},"modified":"2025-08-03T13:19:39","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T08:49:39","slug":"ukraine-drones-kill-three-in-russia-cause-fire-atrefinery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zardis.net\/news\/en\/57485\/ukraine-drones-kill-three-in-russia-cause-fire-atrefinery\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine drones kill three in Russia, cause fire atrefinery"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>One woman was killed and two others wounded in an attack on an enterprise in Penza, the region\u2019s governor, Oleg Melnichenko, wrote on Telegram on Saturday, according to media reports on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The second death of an elderly man happened inside a house that caught fire due to falling drone debris in the Samara region, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev posted on Telegram.<\/p>\n<p>In the Rostov region, a guard at an industrial facility was killed after a drone attack and a fire in one of the site\u2019s buildings, acting Rostov Governor Yury Slyusar said. \u201cThe military repelled a massive air attack during the night,\u201d destroying drones over seven districts, Slyusar posted on Telegram.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ukraine\u2019s military said it struck Russia\u2019s Ryazan oil refinery on Saturday, causing a fire on its territory.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Telegram, the Unmanned Systems Forces also said they hit the Annanefteprodukt oil storage facility in the Voronezh region. The statement did not specify how the facilities were hit, but Ukraine\u2019s military specialises in drone warfare, including long-range strikes.<\/p>\n<p>According to Al Jazeera, Ukraine\u2019s SBU intelligence agency said its drones had hit Russia\u2019s Primorsko-Akhtarsk military airfield, which has been used to launch waves of long-range drones at targets in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The SBU said it also hit a factory in Penza that it said supplies Russia\u2019s military-industrial complex with electronics.<\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s Defence Ministry said in its daily report that its defence units had downed a total of 338 Ukrainian drones overnight.<\/p>\n<p>MNA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One woman was killed and two others wounded in an attack on an enterprise in Penza, the region\u2019s governor, Oleg Melnichenko, wrote on Telegram on Saturday, according to media reports on Saturday.
