Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to China Mohsen Bakhtiar has said that he and the Mongolian minister of road and transportation discussed cooperation between their countries in the transportation sector.
The Iranian envoy and L. Khaltar met in the Chinese capital Beijing, according to an IRNA report on Sunday. They discussed establishing connection routes between their countries, including railway, road and air.
Bakhtiar highlighted Iran’s special position as the connecting bridge between the East and the West, which he said provides a major potential to enhance cooperation between Iran and Mongolia.
He stressed that increased transportation connections would also help strengthen bilateral trade between the two nations.
