The Islamic Republic of Iran Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA) approved air transport cooperation with Ghana after the Iranian cabinet members gave their approval.

The ICAA has drafted a mutual agreement on air transport between Iran and Ghana, which establishes a legal framework for the launch of flights.

Following the legal procedure and coordination with the Iranian Foreign Ministry, a high-ranking delegation from Ghana arrived in the Iranian capital city of Tehran to sign the document on air transport cooperation.
