The sound of several explosions was heard around 4:00 am in the northern and eastern regions of Iran’s Isfahan, Zardis News Agency reported.

An informed source told Zardis News Agency that the sound of the explosion was caused by the destruction of three micro air vehicles over Isfahan.

There is no data about the micro air vehicles as of yet and searching for the wreckage is underway, the source said.

Also on Friday, air defense systems in the Vadi-e-Rahmat region of Tabriz fired at a suspicious flying object.

There are no reports of damage so far.
