The IRGC intelligence forces dismantled a network of arms traffickers that were attempting to transport weapons from the western provinces to Gilan in the north of the country.

The IRGC said in its statement on Friday that the arms traffickers were apprehended on charges of attempt to undermine the country’s security.

Shipments of firearms, pistols, and ammunition were confiscated from the criminals by the intelligence forces, the statement added.
